My parent’s house. It’s always been the safest place. Tonight I dreamt it was black and white. And you were in my parents house. And you kept expanding and expanding and expanding and I kept running and running and running from room to room trying to keep away from you. Trying not to be touched by your expanding presence. Soon you filled the whole house. Like a waxy, pliable substance. I had to push my way through you. I couldn’t get out and you were overwhelming. I’ve woken up now but I’m still shaking. And I’ve woken up to a downpour and everything is dark and wet and quiet and disturbing.
